An ancient reputed family in that area ( least 500 yrs. old), have a "Kudumba Kshethram" SREE RAMAPURAM VISHNU TEMPLE" Earlier the house was an "Ettukettu " ( with two Nadumuttoms) but now it is demolished. The temple is under the control of HR&CE board and it is along with the Vadakkanthra Bhagavathi temple.
