Adjacent to Anzac Hill High School, this oval is used for school events and major local events. It is also the home ground for the Central Australian Rugby Union (CARU) and Central Australian Rugby League. The ground is shared, with Rugby League being contested in the winter months between; Vikings, Memo Bulls, Wests Dragons and United Magpies. While in the summer months the Rugby Union competition pits the Federal Devils, Kiwi Warriors, Dingo Cubs and Eagles against each other.
The ground has also hosted the National Rugby League with a pre-season competition match between the Newcastle Nights and Penrith Panthers in 2006.
