Comments

  • These are not airstrips. It is the Mt. Everard receiver site for the Jindalee Operational Radar Network. The linear structure is an array several hundred receiving antennas. The site has warning lights to prevent aircraft landing there by mistake, since millions of dollars of damage would be caused by such an error. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JORN
