The site received the alerts of SCUD launches from IR satellites, then transmitted the data to NORAD center in Cheyenne Mountain, USA. NORAD center calculated the ballistic parameters of SCUDs and transmitted SCUD target indication signals to the Patriot surface-to-air missiles for targeting and destruction SCUDs.
