The Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (CDSCC) is part of the NASA Deep Space Network (DSN), which is an international network of antennas that supports interplanetary spacecraft missions and radio and radar astronomy observations for the exploration of the Solar System and the universe. On 14 July 2015, images of Pluto have been relayed by NASA space craft New Horizon to the Canberra DSSC.
The Complex is located approximately a 40 minute drive from the centre of Canberra, at Tidbinbilla.
The Complex is being used for communications with the Mars landing in August 2012.
