OK Grocery Co., the distribution arm of Giant Eagle, operates the facility and distributes the goods to Giant Eagle supermarkets in western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. The warehouse opened in November 1999 to consolidate Giant Eagle's perishable foods operations which were then based in Pittsburgh's Strip District and Youngstown, Ohio.
