On the central square in the city of Vratsa rises the monument of the most revered hero of the city - Hristo Botev, who died in the Vratsa Balkan, not far from Mount Okolchitsa. The 12-meter monument was opened on June 2, 1964, and its sculptor was Vladimir Ginovski.
