Endless Column is a monumental sculpture of Constantin Brancusi, part of the Monumental Ensemble of Targu Jiu. Inaugurated on 27 October 1938, the column has a height of 29.35 meters and is composed of 15 octahedral modules having the upper and lower ends half of the module.
The sculpture is a stylization of funeral columns specific to southern Romania. Its original name was "Endless Gratitude Column" and was devoted to the First World War Romanian soldiers who died in 1916 in the battles on the banks of the Jiu river.
