when i was a kid , my friends and i hopped over the fence of the park and climbed down this hill and found a hole in the side of the hill. when we entered, the size of the hole grew into a full size tunnel with support beams and everything, but when you first enter there is a ledge with a dropoff of about 4 or 5 ft so if you dont have a flashlight it can be dangerous...not to mention a cave-in....

we didnt go very far and when we asked our friends dad he said he had heard of old tunnels, and that it could have gone for miles and miles, but he made us promise to never go in there again and that we could get into BIG trouble for being there.

So the NAVY probably does NOT want you in there...but it was really cool and left a lasting memory,so i thought i would share it
