This was the first documented open public space in Birmingham. The buildings surrounding it were all built by one man however all of these have in time been demolished or destroyed. It is now a road junction with a memorial to Tony Hancock located on the end. A mural is situated on a wall and it is now used as a wooded seating places in the urban area.
