This is a major redevelopment scheme of a large site in the Eastside area of Birmingham, opened up by the demolition and downgrading of a major elevated road interchange on the Birmingham Inner Ring Road.

The land was split into two phases, the other being called City Park Gate. This site was also split in half by Moor Street Queensway. The site was sold to a private group of companies, who then proposed a major mixed-use complex of apartments, offices and retail. The plans for the site have changed over time, including land originally intended for offices sold to the UK Government for the construction of a Magistrates' Court, although this plan has since been put on hold indefinitely by the Conservative-Lib Dem coalition.

As of 2010, only one apartment building has been completed and another is still under construction as a result of one of the development partners going into administration. This forced all construction work to stop until it was sold on, and construction recommenced.

On the northern half of the site, plans for a large office complex have been approved but are yet to begin. The site is the largest of the two and will host the largest building of the complex, standing at some 104 metres in height.
