சுவாமிதோப்பு [அய்யா வைகுண்டர் தலைமை பதி]
Swamithope Pathi (சுவாமிதோப்பு பதி) is the religious head quarters of Ayyavazhi. This is the place where Ayya Vaikundar penanced for about Six years. This is also one of the important temples in South India and the most important pilgrim center for the nation-wide Ayyavazhi followers. This is the first of the Pancha Pathi, the five primary holy Places for Ayyavazhi people.

Vaikundar's Sacred golden-body (incarnational Body) is intered in this Pathi. Akilam the primary scripture of Ayyavazhi, refers to this Pathi as 'Thoppu pathi' and as 'Thamarai pathi'.

Comments

  • Head quarters of Ayyavazhi religion and one of the most imortant pilgrim centers in Tamil Nadu.
  • THIS SAINTS TEACHINGS TO BE PROBAGATED IN THE MODERN WORLD. see the temple photo in add menu
  • I respectfully disagree with denoting Vaikundar to be a saint. He is an incarnation (avatar) of Narayana as per Akilathirattu Ammanai the holy text.
