A large lovely wooded area near Bexley. This wood is quite special for its landscape. It has a very high point near the center. It has a 2000 year old defence ditch (faesten dic)
Cambridge Harriers Athletics Club and Dartford and Bexley running club site competions around the forest about four times a year. There is a route within the wood often used by the running clubs and has been nicknamed (Misery) for its sharp winding and steap hills.
