This is the place where Agnikula Rajputs live. These Agnikula Rajputs were once migrated from the North Rajastan-Punjab-Pakistan area of india and settled in andhra. These are pure Suryavanshi Rajputs with the Gotras Ravikul and Raghuvansh. During the british period, The british government got scared seeing these peoples warrior skills. Thinking that people with this skill can revolt in masses at any time and banned them from owning the properties and agricultural lands and even forceably taken all the lands from this community to crush them. This community settled in the border areas mixing with the south pallavan army. Till today we see the people being born in this area with very fair rajput features as well as with dark complexion in the same families.

Normally Lord krishna will be believed in north india much, Lord krishna temple is built in this village by original agnikula kshatriyan Descendents. The initials of many people in this area villages starts with singh(Tiger) like singot, Peda Singh, Singeti etc.

When people first arrived to this place there were many toys in the middle of the village. Toy mean gilaka in telugu,,, and hence this villiage got the name Gilakaladindi
