Lafchieva House is a unique architectural complex, a national cultural monument. It is the only preserved in Bulgaria three-storey residential building in traditional architectural style from the Revival period. It was built around 1840 by the Dryanovo builder Kolyo Gaidarzhiyata and is known as the "house without nails". This is a fact, as not a single nail or iron bracket was used in the overall construction of the impressive three-storey building.
