When this location of Extra Foods (formerly OK! Economy and Dominion) closed in 2004, it left Saskatoon's downtown core without a local major grocery store until the Uptown Market opened (and closed) in 2010. The building was demolished in 2006.

Early in Saskatoon's history, this was the site of the J.H. Early Motor Company Ltd.
