Mansion built in 1860. Daniel Lanois' previous home and Kingsway Studios, sold around the turn of the century. Many albums were recorded here including R.E.M. - Automatic for the People and Blind Melon - Soup. Blind Melon lived there while recording as the 12,000-square-foot, Italianate mansion housed the studio on the ground floor, six private bedroom suites with several fireplaces, private balconies on the second and third floors, a wrought-iron deck, marble baths, and a tropical garden with roman baths.
