Established in 1896, this large cemetery is located across the street from the City of Colma's Historical Association. Until 1900, it was known as Mt. Olivet Cemetery, and is one of the larger cemeteries in Colma. It is the final resting place of over 88,000 deceased. Notable burials include Arthur R. "Doc" Barker (1899-1939), son of Kate "Ma" Barker, and member of the notorious Barker Gang, as well as Ishi (1860-1916), the last known survivor of the Yahi Tribe of Native Americans.
