Here stand ruins of the favorite bar of many Muroc Army Airfield air-crewmen, test pilots, and aviation celebrities. The 20's female aviator, 'Poncho Barnes' owner of this site is features in the film "The Right Stuff" and in Chuck Yeager's book Yeager.
