The Merle Norman Building, for the cosmetics company, is in the Streamline Moderne style, resembling an abstracted ocean liner. Architect was George Parr, designing it 1935-1936. It is a Santa Monica City Designated Historic Landmark, with sensitive adaptive reuse to shops, at 2525 Main Street.
