"The Grapes of Wrath" fame camp.

in 1940 some scenes of the Film based on John Steinbeck's novel were shot here.
Directed by John Ford, Starring Henry Fonda.

National Historical Place designation.

Today it is named "Sunset Camp" and just to the west is Sunset School established specifically for the people of the camp. It is still in Business Today housing Migrant Farm Workers.
