It is currently owned by billionaire Ronald Burkle; investor, developer, Democratic Party fundraiser.

  • It used to sit on a much larger lot. Much of it was sold and subdivided. Harold Lloyd had a small 9 hole golf course. So did neighbor Jack Warner. In order to play a full 18, they'd open a gate to the adjoining properties. Those must have been the days!
  • An Arcadian Landscape. The California Gardens of A.E. Hanson - the main focus of this book is the Lloyd estate. Insight into Lloyd and the building of the estate told thru the words of Hanson.
