Plymouth Hoe, referred to locally as the Hoe, is a large south facing open public space in Plymouth. The name derives from the Anglo-Saxon word Hoe, a sloping ridge shaped like an inverted foot and heel.

  • I walk my dog up here, it's like, his back garden...it's gone down the shitter a bit because of the boy racers and the 'moron with a can of cheap lager doing a back flip off a 70ft wall into a metre squared area surround by jagged rocks then getting on his moped and beeping at people to try and be cool' culture... I remember when it was a nice place, shame...
  • I don`t know what is more abhorrent, the boy racers or the dog owners letting their pets do" their business" on what is otherwise a lovely area!
