  Danby was reportedly the location of the 691st Quartermaster Laundry Battalion and Headquarters, which was a part of the XV Corps. The army leased 1,253 feet of spur track at Danby and apparently established a campsite there. Still standing at Danby today are several foundations and old buildings. There are also several areas of historical period refuse. Because a great deal of railroad activity has occurred at Danby in the past,it is unknown which of these loci represent DTC/C-AMA-related materials. See: http://skytrail.info/new/camps.htm
