Chair Canyon

Chair Gorge is located along the Chair River. The huge rocks overhanging the road, the Chairska river and the Shabanitsa reserve are only part of the wonderful beauties of the gorge. Some extraordinary natural phenomena are also found here. At the very beginning is Prevaleti kamak – a natural stone arch over 10 m high. Further up the road leads to Chair Lakes. Above the gorge rises Mount Boydalaka, from which a wonderful view of a large part of the Rhodope Mountains opens up.
