A neighborhood of the City of St. Petersburg, Florida (formerly North Shore).

The Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood was the first established neighborhood within the City of St. Petersburg. The subdivision began in 1911, built with the goal to establish the area as the premier residential neighborhood adjacent to the burgeoning city of St. Petersburg along the shores of Tampa Bay and Coffee Pot Bayou. Many homes from that era still exist. The area architecture is dominated by Mediterranean Revival, Colonial Revival, Bungalow Styles, Prairie, Williamsburg as well as vernacular style homes. This mix, combined with the age of the neighborhood, gives Historic Old Northeast a residential character which sets it apart.

The Historic Old Northeast Neighborhood area contains approximately 9,000 people and 5,300 residential units (houses, apartments, condominiums).
