ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Greater Woodlawn is a neighborhood of the City of St. Petersburg, Florida. It is a middle class community located in the north side of the city. It is bounded by 30th Avenue North on the North, 22nd Avenue North on the South, and 9th Street North on the East and 16th Street North on the West. “Woodlawn Circle” is within the limits of the community.


ORGANIZATIONS
The neighborhood has an association: “Greater Woodlawn Neighborhood Association, Inc.” This association was formed in May of 1995. Also, the community has an active “Neighborhood Watch Organization”

Business on this neighborhood can be found mostly on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North (9th Street North).


PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
“Greater Woodlawn” is served by three PSTA routes: 9 (9th Street North), 16 (16th Street North) and 22 (22nd Avenue North).

Route 9 travels along “Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North (9th Street North)” northbound to Gateway Mall, 116th Street North and Goodwill Industries and southbound to Downtown St. Petersburg.

Route 16 travel along “16th Street North” northbound to Gateway Mall and southbound to “Downtown St. Petersburg”

Route 22 travels along 22th Avenue North eastbound to 22nd Avenue North/4th Street North and westbound to “Tyrone Square Mall”.
