The building was designed by the architects Lamb & Rich in 1883, during one of Harlem’s heydays, with luxury apartments upstairs and the Mount Morris Bank downstairs. Later, it became the Corn Exchange Bank. Queen Anne and Romanesque Revival architecture.
The top two floors were deemed not salvable but were later rebuilt by Danois Architects for Artimus Construction.
