Historic shingle Queen Anne-style resort complex dating to 1890. The resort was originally known as the Brandon Hotel, but became the home of Fairfax Hall School in 1920. The school was an all-girl preparatory school. The property is currently a senior citizen living facility and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
