This is large area of Jangal Khel where mostly Shinwari, Mansoor Khail, Gillani and others are settled. There are some prominent personalities in education, politics, beurucracy, business and land owners.
The area was originally established by Syed`s families who migrated from Central Asia ancient famous city Bokhara. This small village saw some great people like Shahan Shah KHATTA and Syed Kamal SON OF MALIK ATTA KHAN KHATTAK who spearheded the Independence movement and saw brutalities at the hand s of British empire of India. Mr Ghandhi travelled to this village to be the guest of these two valient soldiers of Independence. In this area, later on Shinwari from Afghanistan also settled here. Now it consisted multi background people including Afridi, Khattak. PASHTO is the native language of this area and many educated families belong to this area including Edcation, Army, Banking etc.
