Established in 1909, Malabar Christian College,Calicut opened up a new chapter in the field of education, making higher education accessible to all the Malabar. The college can boast of a line of distinguished educationalists as principals from Germany, England and Malabar. Initially affiliated to the Madras University, as Basel German Mission College, it later on became Malabar Christian College, affiliated to the University of Calicut. Over the decades the college has developed into a prime educational institution in Malabar, offering diverse courses for study. Situated in the heart of the city, no other college is as accessible as Malabar Christian College.
