Blue Island is an uninhabited marshy island surrounded to the south and west by Blue Creek, and the the north and east by the St. Johns River in Lake County, Florida. The island sits on the eastern boundary of the county between Lake George to the north, and the town of Astor, to the south, and it is across the river from Volusia County. Blue Island also lies within the Ocala National Forest.

Blue Island is nearly cut in two by another stream, Cross Creek, which empties into Blue Creek.
