Drayton Island is an inhabited island at the north end of Lake George and on the west side of the main channel of the St. Johns River, in Putnam County, Florida. The island is sparsely populated and is accessible only by water via a public ferry operated from the town of Georgetown, Florida, to the east.

Drayton Island is approximately 1.1 mile in radius and is heavily wooded. In the past, it has sometimes been known as Rembert Island.

Prior to the US Civil War, the island was a plantation owned by US Congressman from South Carolina, William Drayton.
