Ambekar Nagar Co-op Housing Society consists of 12 buildings A-H and then J-M.

Most of the apartments are 1 BHK with some of the buildings having 2 BHK apartments.

This Co-Operative Housing Society is one of the pioneer co-op housing societies in Mumbai. Since then many of the apartments have changed hands, but the spirit of unity & togetherness is still alive. Most of the Ex-Residents come back ot celebrate festivals with their old neighbours.

Ganeshotsav is celebrated with great enthusiasm every year as are other festivals like Rangapanchami, Holi and Gokulashtami.

Sports for people of all ages are held every year in January consisting of games like Volleyball and Cricket.

A social gathering complete with food stalls, party games, etc. dubbed as "Fun Fair" is held every year on the 26th of January.
