The boundaries of the official Local Historic District of Seminole Heights are broader than the boundaries selected for the National Historic District, and are in two sections.
This is the main section, which includes all the structures accepted to the National District, plus additional buildings. A smaller eastern section of the Local District lies opposite I-275.
The period of historical significance is 1912-1928. The Local Historic District was created in 1995, two years following the National Historic District designation.
