The Titanic Memorial is a 60-foot tall lighthouse built, due in part to the instigation of Margaret Brown, to remember the people who died on the RMS Titanic when she sank on April 15, 1912. The structure was designed by Warren & Wetmore. After moving several times, it is currently located at the entrance to the South Street Seaport on the corner of Fulton and Pearl Streets in Lower Manhattan.
It is being restored by J.H. Pokorny Associates with funding by Howard Hughes Corp.
