The starting point of this tourist route is located in the Eastern Rhodopes Ustra Hut. Built on Ustrenski Ridge, it is a major starting point for one of the best preserved medieval castles in the Rhodopes, also named Ustra. The most convenient starting point for the lodge is a town Dzhebel of which take the road to the village Ustren to pull over a marked trail just before his plate. The distance is about nine kilometers. It should be borne in mind that unfortunately hut is not sufficiently developed, although it is abundant in natural, cultural and historical attractions area, and does not work consistently.
