The Carolin Mine is located 18 kilometers northeast of Hope in southwestern British Columbia, which is approximately 150 kilometers east of Vancouver, and only 6 kilometers from the major Coquihalla Highway. The property consists of 126 located mineral claims, and nine crown granted mineral claims within which the mine and mill are located. The northwesterly oriented group of contiguous claims extends for approximately 15 kilometers with a maximum width of approximately three kilometers and covers an area of approximately 1,900 hectares.

The Carolin Mine property contains approximately 15 kilometers of the
Coquihalla Gold Belt and has a large number of favourable gold showings, which have the potential for the discovery of other gold deposits.

The mine operated briefly in the 1980s, and the mill buildings were left standing with the hopes of future activity. In Feb 2004 Century Mining Corporation and Tamerlane Ventures Inc. purchased the rights to the Carolin Mine Project from Athabaska Gold Resources Ltd. in a 70%/30% Split.

Century will undertake an aggressive exploration program, update an earlier feasibility study and rehabilitate the milling facility as part of the agreement.

In April 2007 Module Resources Inc. signed a Letter of Intent to Option whereby Module can acquire up to 90% of the Carolin Mine and associated Ladner Creek properties, from Century Mining.
