Lower Twin Island

Lower Twin "Party" Island. Boaters on the weekends in the summer flock to this island. People always have fun, drink beer, cook hot dogs and hamburgers, and talk to random people. On any given Saturday in the summer there will be anywhere from 20 to 40 boats, about 30 to 110 people. Boats with or without tubers, water skiers, or wakeboarders and jet skis are always racing around the island, while people just float or kids play in the river. There are old grills and old car seats for anyone to use. People always have the oldies or classic rock station on. Kids dig holes and build sand castles, while parents socialize (yes there is sand on this island). People never fight here. This is the true utopia of wheeling. You can always count on meeting interesting folks here.
