Silistar Beach

Silistar is one of the most beautiful bays on our Black Sea coast. The water is almost always calm and very clean. The beach is about 1 km long. The trip from the main road to the beach is a dirt road that is not very wide. There are restaurants, paid umbrellas, tents. There is a paid parking space, but it can also park outside the paid area. There is a camping site nearby.
The beach Silistar is also known by the name The beach of pirates. It is assumed that in the ancient times this and neighboring gulf (Listi) were base of robbers (pirates) and the name Silistar comes from the Greek word syunlistareo - location adjacent to robbers.
