Among the masses this building was called - "Fekalka".
Remarkable place in Pripyat. Was situated in the centre of the city. Nothing special in respect of architecture and appointment (faecal pumping over station) did not represent. But on the opposite side of the road there was a bus stop, whence buses carried workers on the Chernobyl atomic power station.
In this building from outside Kurchatova str. there were was an "Aeroflot" cash desk and "Sojuzpechat" where lottery "Sprint" tickets were sold. The saleswoman did not have a release from schoolboys willing to buy a "treasured" ticket on the money which has been given out by parents for a school dinner.
