  • A "top secret" plant.
  • Actually, I think it was not really that secret - it was a radio manufacturing plant. Sort of a sign that Pripyat was diversifying a bit into other areas of industry. This makes sense, seeing that the inhabitants were all scientifically trained, the next generation can't ALL work at the power station, so create a few science-intensive for them.
