Lincoln Park (Washington D.C. (District of Columbia))

The park was planned by Pierre L'Enfant to be the point from which all distances in North America were to be measured. It is also known as Lincoln Square.

The park features two important sculptures; The Emancipation Memorial, the first of several memorials in Washington honoring Abraham Lincoln, and The Mary McLeod Bethune Memorial.

It is great place to relax. There are two separate fenced-off children's playgrounds in this park. There is also a recessed area where you can find people with dogs any time of day. There's also a great grassy area for a picnic.
