This was the site of the "Stone Church," the second home of the First Congregational Church of Fall River. From 1832 to 1913, when they moved to Rock Street, the First Congregational Church thrived in this location. They moved out in 1913 to a new church a few blocks east. In 1923 a masonic temple was built on the site of the church, and has recently been converted to apartments
