The Cheney Brothers Historic District was a center of the silk industry in Manchester, Connecticut in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The 175-acre district includes over 275 mill buildings, workers houses, churches, schools and Cheney family mansions. These structures represent the well-preserved company town of the Cheney Brothers silk manufacturing company, the first America-based silk company to properly raise and process silkworms, and to develop the difficult techniques of spinning and weaving silk. The area was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and declared a National Historic Landmark District in 1978. The district also partially contains the Manchester Historic District, a district listed separately on the NRHP in 2000. That district extends north roughly to Center Springs Park (inclusive of the park).

Most of the former silk mill buildings have been adaptively reused as commercial buildings and loft-style apartments, while several of the Cheney family's mansions are now operated as inns and bed & breakfasts.
