Barbara Jordan High School for Careers is a 9-12 magnet school in the Houston Independent School District, located at 5800 Eastex Freeway (U.S. Highway 59) in Houston, Texas.

Originally opened as Houston Technical Institute, the school was renamed in 1979 to honor Barbara Charlene Jordan, the first Southern black woman ever elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.

Jordan has two magnet programs: one for students who will enter the workforce after graduation for high school, and one for high school-aged deaf students.
