Career-prep magnet school. From 1957 to until it was closed spring 2014, it was known as Jesse H. Jones High School (more commonly Jones High School), grade 9-12 high school located in the South Park neighborhood of Houston, Texas. It is named in honor of Jesse Holman Jones, a prominent Texas businessman and politician. It was reopened as a magnet school soon after however and as a temporary home to Milby High School, which is undergoing rebuilding.
