USA / New York / Roslyn Estates / North Hills, New York
cabin, LIGC - Long Island Gold Coast, interesting place, outbuilding

This cabin was built nearby for the estate home of writer Christopher Morley in 1934 as a place where he would work in solitude from his family. In 1936, a Dyamaxion Bathroom was installed by his friend Buckminster Fuller. The Latin motto above the door is a quote by Erasmus which translates to "How busy you are in your library, which is your paradise".

After his death, the cabin was moved to the park for safekeeping in 1966. The main residence of "Green Escape" was demolished in 2011.
