Grade level intersection of the BNSF Railway (Gulf Division, Galveston Subdivision) and the Union Pacific Railroad (Houston Area, Popp Subdivision).

BNSF Railway was formed in 1996 with the merger of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway and the Burlington Northern Railroad. The segment of the old AT&SF located at this crossing was previously known as the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway.

Union Pacific Railroad acquired the former Missouri Pacific Railroad Company in 1982. The segment of the old MPRC located at this crossing was previously known as the International and Great Northern Railroad.
