The two building, 612,000 sq. ft., Executive Plaza was originally constructed as the World Trade Center. The first, eleven story, 291,400 sq. ft. southernmost tower, was constructed in 1966 and the twenty-one story, 321,000 sq. ft. second building was built in 1974. When the World Trade Center failed the buildings were occupied by the State of Michigan.
The complex has been vacant since the State offices were moved to Cadillac Place in 2002.The 10 acre property includes the 4 ac. building site and three large parking lots located to the west.
